Gowanus
This is our first year featuring Gowanus! Long overdue, in our opinion, especially as we sold a stunning 1840s farmhouse there in 2021. The number of houses sold in 2021–14–stayed the same from 2020, but the median increased by 33%! This is a small sample size, but the price increase reflects renovations happening in the area and the overall premium placed on turnkey properties. As the Gowanus rezoning goes into effect, we are excited to keep a close eye on this neighborhood.
