Brooklyn Heights is what many picture when they think of Brownstone Brooklyn, with its historic cobblestone blocks and wide, stately townhomes. In 2020, there were far fewer transactions—14, as compared to 24 in 2019—and a 7% dip in the median price. Many of the townhouses in the Heights spent a longer time on the market than in previous years, with buyers seeking immediate rehousing eschewing any desired renovation in favor of turnkey properties.
