While fewer townhouses were sold in 2023 (-13%), the median price went up a whopping 49%! This defied the trend in all other parts of Brownstone Brooklyn, where decreases in value were the norm. We opine this is due to the much larger share of sold houses that are renovated, and the (relatively) attractive price range for Bed Stuy houses.
